Outstanding Features
Establiments is a residential suburb situated on the north side of Palma de Mallorca. It was once an independent municipality but in 1910 it was made part of the capital city. The majority of the buildings in this zone are one-family homes and for this reason it is a quiet tranquil residential area. Establiments has its boundaries with Esporles and Puigpunyent to the north and and to the west respectively. It also has boundaries with the neighbourhoods of Son Anglada and Secar de la Real to the south.
Aquatic Activities
The Bay of Palma is one of the enclaves of the Mediterranean where the practice of sailing has a name of its own. In these water sports a number of Majorcan people have demonstrated their worth who compete and have competed in the World Championships and the Olympic Games. To practice this sport there are a variety of sports clubs in existence of which the most outstanding are Real Club Náutico de Palma, Escuela de vela Calanova and Club Náutico de Portitxol.

For the practice of this sport in particular the Club de Golf Son Vida and Son Gual are magnificent for the quality of their installations as well as for the high quality service which they give.
