As the days go by its only getting hotter and hotter. With the arrival of July, it’s no lie that what you have planned has to be well suited to the hot temperatures. At Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nova Mallorca Real Estate Experts, we would like to present a solution to battling the heat and alternatives to staying indoors in your property in Mallorca with the air conditioning on. What can we do to make the most of our days on this beautiful island in summer? We will be giving you all the details in this blog article.
There is no doubt that Mallorca is fundamentally linked to its shores, its coastlines and its beaches. We already know that it is a blessing to take a dip in any of the exotic coves on the east of the island, where you will find Mediterranean rock cliffs paired with crystal clear turquoise waters or the infinite kilometres of beach in the south with their fine white sand and magazine cover-esque landscapes. As we have mentioned in previous articles, there are many excursions which you can do to get to these coves, but if the heat isn’t your thing, don’t worry, on the beaches you can find companies offering water sports activities such as snorkelling, diving, kayaking and for those who want to battle the wind, kitesurfing, windsurfing as well as parasailing for those in search of a thrill. There is also the option to sit back and enjoy a glass of something cold in one of the hundreds of beach clubs or beach bars on the island.
In addition to this, you can always visit a water park, which guarantees a very fun afternoon. Hosting a great variety of attractions suitable for all ages is the Western Park, Aqualand or even the Hidropark, which are open pretty much every day during the summer season.
Our natural surroundings have a unique beauty because, as well as having beautiful coastlines, we have the Serra de Tramuntana, which is the starting point for a series of excursions, that allows you to get to know the most authentic side of Mallorca. Excursions such as the climb to the Alaró castle or the Valldemossa route to Pollença. Another way to explore the countryside, the mountains or beaches of Mallorca is by horse. Whether you´re an experienced rider or a complete beginner there are many companies who organise horse riding excursions who can explain the route in detail and will guide you throughout the day.
Another interesting activity is to go paintballing and relieve some stress as you battle it out with your enemies.
Strolling along our boulevards such as the Paseo Marítimo, going shopping on the Avenida Jaime III, visiting the Cathedral of Mallorca, enjoying an ice cream in the plaza de la Lonja, visiting our museums such as Es Baluard, the Miro Foundation or the many art galleries which exhibit art works throughout the centre of Palma are activities which you can do all year round, but which are always a good excuse to enjoy what the island offers us.
If you would like to discover all these places at your own pace, there is no better way to do it than with a luxury property in Mallorca. Why not take the next step and live in paradise? You could enjoy all of the incredible activities mentioned on any day of your choice….as well as making up your own adventures! Contact our real estate experts and we can help you resolve any query which you may have.
